Three Tours to Choose From
All tours depart our location on Waupaca’s historic and
picturesque Town Square, and last approximately 2 hours, including a 30 minute
training session.
Cost
Tours are $60.00 and must be reserved in advance by credit card or cash!
The Segway
The computerized technology of the Segway
combines Lithium-Ion batteries, servo-motors and a series of patented
micro-processors and gyro-scopes to constantly keep you in balance. Reading your
body movements and the terrain underneath its wheels, the Segway makes
adjustments 100 times a second to safely glide you across the ground. Don't
worry about balancing the Segway. It will balance you!
Additional Details
Please be sure to arrive on time for your personal training. We provide a
handle bar bag for small personal items and an approved bicycle helmet which is
required. Women who are pregnant and any rider who does not comply with our
safety standards are not permitted to ride.
Riders must be at least 10 years old, weigh between 100 and 264 and be able
to step up and down a single step quickly, without assistance. A parent or
guardian must accompany riders under 16 years old.
Tours run in light rain or shine. (Ponchos are provided) If Segway
Adventures must cancel a tour due to more serious weather, it can be
rescheduled to another timeslot. Because your position in the tour is reserved,
no-shows are non-refundable.
